This week is round one of the Bailey Shield. Good luck to all teams competing. Could you please ensure that all results are entered to play-cricket within 48 hours of completion. Please advise the Umpires Secretary if a fixture has to be rearranged because of the weather.

Apologies that quarter final Matches for the Pinfold Trophy were not published by 13 May. They have now been published and I would be grateful if results could be entered on to play-cricket.

The Committee has agreed to allow Bagnall CC to enter a Sunday team, replacing Fenton In Section B (South). Fixtures have now been published.

Unfortunately Ashcombe Park are not be able to fulfill their fixtures in the Saturday Premier Division and have dropped out, leaving only 10 teams remaining.

I have made some small amendments to the recording of league results, as follows:
- For a match called off without a ball being bowled, enter the result as: Cancelled (no play)
- For a match called off with only one team having batted (full or part innings), enter the result as: Abandoned (some play)
- For a match were the second innings started and ended in a draw without 25 overs bowled in the second innings, enter the result as: Draw (< 25 overs)
